About the Speaker:

Prof. Andrew Beng Jin Teoh received his B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1999 and his Ph.D. in 2003. He is currently a full professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, College of Engineering, Yonsei University, South Korea. His research focuses on deep learning and biometric security, for which he has received multiple research grants. His current research interests include machine learning and information security. He has published over 300 papers in top international journals and conferences, including IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TIFS, CVIU, PR, and has edited multiple book chapters and collections.

He has served as a guest editor for IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security and Machine Learning with Applications (Elsevier), editor-in-chief for IEEE Biometrics Compendium, and editor-in-chief for the IEEE Biometrics Council Newsletter.
