A delegation of Vice President of Burns College of Engineering, University of California, Riverside, visited our school

On the morning of October 31, a delegation of vice president of Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE), University of California, Riverside (UCR), visited our school. Professor Li Deshi, Dean of the College, Professor He Xiaofan, Associate Professor Xiao Jinsheng, Secretary-General Hua Guang of the College Youth Federation, and Director Liu Xiaoli of the International Exchange Department of Wuhan University attended the symposium.
Li deshi first welcomed the visit of Marko Princevac, vice president of BCOE, and assistant president Wang Jun. He looked forward to establishing a good relationship between the both parties in terms of teacher-student exchange, scientific research cooperation and talent training, and conducting more extensive and close cooperation. Professor He Xiaofan gave a comprehensive introduction to the basic situation of Electronic Information School (EIS) from the aspects of school history, department setting, research team, student exchange and internationalization of the school.
Professor Marko Princevac introduced the school profile. UCR is a well-known public research university in the United States. BCOE is the traditional advantage professional college of the UCR, which represents the top level of engineering disciplines in the university of California system. Professor Marko Princevac focused on the 3+1+X postgraduate project, hoping that both parties can carry out short-term exchange programs for students in the summer and winter holidays, and the two sides can take this opportunity to cooperate in more fields.
Through this exchange visit, both parties reached consensus on many aspects such as student joint training, scientific research cooperation, and mutual teacher teaching, which laid a solid foundation for promoting the establishment of a long-term and effective all-round cooperative relationship between our school and UCR.
